Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 1, 2026This Privacy Policy explains how
Aqtra Platform LLC ("Company", "we", "us") handles information.
Aqtra Platform is a low-code software solution designed to be deployed within the
Customer’s own managed infrastructure (e.g., private cloud on AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premise servers).
1. Data Ownership and Private Infrastructure
The Aqtra Platform operates under a
"Self-Hosted" model.
- Zero Access: Once installed in the Customer’s infrastructure, Aqtra Platform LLC has no access to the data, applications, or end-user information processed within the platform.
- Customer Control: The Customer maintains full control over the environment, security configurations, and data residency.
- No Data Exfiltration: The platform does not "phone home" or transmit Customer data to our servers, except for license validation or optional telemetry (if enabled by the Customer).
2. Information We Collect (As Data Controller)
We only collect personal information necessary to manage our business relationship:
- Account & Contact Data: Name, email, and company details provided during the purchase or download via AWS Marketplace or other providers.
- License Management: Unique identifiers (e.g., License Keys) to verify your right to use the software.
- Support Data: Information you provide when opening a support ticket at aqtra.io/support.
3. GDPR Compliance (For EEA Users)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Processor Status: For data processed within the platform instance, the Customer is the Data Controller. Aqtra Platform LLC is not a Processor as we do not have "possession" of or access to that data.
- Data Rights: To exercise rights regarding data stored inside an Aqtra instance, users must contact the respective Customer (their employer or service provider).
4. CCPA/CPRA Compliance (California)
In accordance with the
California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Non-Sale of Data: We do not sell or share any personal information collected through our website or licensing system.
- Limited Collection: Our collection is limited to "Business-to-Business" (B2B) information required to maintain the software license.
5. Deployment via Cloud Marketplaces
When you install Aqtra via Azure Marketplace, GCP Marketplace, or Virtuozzo, your relationship regarding billing and infrastructure is governed by their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review the AWS Privacy Notice or equivalent.
6. Security Responsibility
Because the software is hosted in the Customer's infrastructure, the
Customer is solely responsible for:
- Securing the cloud environment.
- Managing user access and authentication.
- Data encryption and backups.
